(c. 2020) Final Four came out of necessity more than anything for me. I created these over a weekend in March, while most of the U.S. was under quarantine due to COVID-19. The Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight of March Madness would have been played this particular weekend, had it not been cancelled due to the virus. I was missing basketball a lot, especially since my favorite team, the Iowa Hawkeyes, had a shot to make their first Sweet Sixteen in 20 years. I solaced myself by creating these pieces and looking forward to next year.
